May 31st, June 7th, 14th & 21st
Spend four weeks cultivating a healthy relationship with your back in a small group setting. This intimate semi-private workshop is limited to six students. Alignment teacher Alicia Allison will teach students with chronic & acute back issues how to move through various yoga poses in a healthy and safe way. Regular weekly practice when done with proper modifications and mindfulness strengthens the body, relieves pain and builds structural integrity. Standing poses, forward bends and backbends will be taught and you will learn how to use props and the wall to create more opening in the hips, shoulders and spine.
These are slow-paced intentional classes. For those who also enjoy our faster-paced classes, these sessions will allow you to drop into them with more understanding and confidence about the specific needs of your body.
